Research Interests

My research focuses on medical visualization and data analysis: The goal is to make use of all available data to guide reasoning and understanding of the information that is contained inside the data.

Available PhD projects

Based on the IMPRS, it is my aim to understand both individual modalities better but as well as to combine different modalities to create a unique picture. Especially in the human brain, many of the individual modalities only allow us to see a certain specific aspect of the data. In combination, and using automated or interactive techniques, we hope to get a better understanding of the data we are looking at.
