Body and brain are in constant interaction, but their activity is often studied in isolation. Accumulating evidence shows that activity generated in the body modulates neural processes. As a Neuroscientist, who by definition is focused on the brain, I am very excited about the perspective of brain-body interactions and how they can shape our perceptual and cognitive functions.
