Foundation of Social Cognition and Emotions
This module teaches the scientific basis of human social cognition, which is studied by means of an interdisciplinary approach. We will address the neuronal, hormonal, developmental and plastic characteristics of social cognition and social and moral emotions, self-other discrimination, non-verbal communication, and “Theory of Mind”. In addition, the understanding of the causes underlying the psychopathologies of social cognition is another important aspect of this module.
